This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Medical Talent (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information in connection with your access to and use of the Medical Talent platform, website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

Medical Talent provides a technology-enabled staffing platform that connects qualified healthcare professionals with healthcare facilities seeking temporary staffing coverage. Protecting the privacy and security of the information entrusted to us is central to how we operate.

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, you may not access or use the Platform.

4. Protected health information and HIPAA

In the course of working assignments, healthcare professionals may access protected health information (“PHI”) belonging to patients of a facility. Medical Talent does not direct clinical care, and patient PHI accessed at a facility is governed by that facility’s obligations under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”) and applicable state privacy laws.

Healthcare professionals are required to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient information in compliance with HIPAA, state privacy laws, and facility confidentiality policies. Unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of patient information may result in termination and potential legal liability.

Health-related information we collect about healthcare professionals directly — such as immunization records, drug screening results, and fitness-for-duty information — is collected for credentialing, eligibility, and compliance purposes and is handled in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

You may control cookies through your browser or device settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit the functionality of the Platform.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. These measures include access controls, encryption where appropriate, and ongoing monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for not sharing them with others.

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain employment and payroll records, satisfy legal, tax, credentialing, and regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may update this Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will post the updated Policy with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

This Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under this Policy shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located within the State of Texas.
